It is with the saddest of hearts that I write this. The Carstarphen, Pharr, and Abernathy families haven been in McAdenville for decades. I remember when JM was working in the mill and would come in the store. Memories will never go away. I pray that you and your family find strength and courage in your time of mourning.

Bill,
Your father was one of the finest men I have ever known in my life. I already miss him and it has been a few years since I have been to see your team.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, but please remember all the fun and education we received by knowing your father.

He was a wonderful man and he has done so much for others in his life, you should be proud to be a Carstarphen.

A great big hug to you and your family from the Cheek's. His arms were always open for me and I will never forget that love.

To the Carstarphen family, My thoughts and prayers are with you. Years ago I worked at Pharr yarns. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Carstarphen when he walked in the plant one day. At that time I worked in the lab. He just came up and started talking to me. He asked me about my job and how I was doing. I found out that day what a special person he was. He did not act like a big CEO of a company but just like a normal person that worked just like everyone else. He was genuine. I know God blessed your family with this great man in your life. To Mrs. Carstarphen I lost my husband in 2011 and I can tell you that God will help you get through this grief. Just depend on him to help you. May God bless the family. Sincerely, Terry Schronce
