I just learned of Lorenzo going to heaven in June 2011 when reading an article an NC State student wrote about Dean Smith last month. I found it on a friend's FB page. But this is no accident. I sat up one night many years ago with a video camera in my hands and taped the 1983 game & Coach V's last speech that was being rebroadcast on tv. Our recording device was broken and I was determined to have what I had SO enjoyed in real life. Eventhough I'm a garnet bleeding SC Gamecock, I always held a special place in my heart for Coach V and the Cardiac Kids. I think Lorenzo was a lot like our Heisman winner, George Rogers. I will certainly pray for Zo's family and look forward to seeing him in heaven.

"My thoughts and prayers are with the Charles Family in their tinme of grief. At times like these,
'God' can give us "power beyond what is normal,"
so we can keep going from one day to the next."
