To all who have written. Your thoughts and prayers are sincerely appreciated. Our family hopes to thank everyone personally, however,
we are certain there may be thoes we miss.
Prissy was a very unique individual. Her kindness touched many. As I told many, her's and Lester love affiar was one that many will never experience. They shared a life of joy and at times hardship, but by being there for each other, they always worked through it.
When Crystal was born, a new chapter in thier lives began. Now we see Prissy in Kenna her grandchild whom has brought much joy into thier lives.
Prissy alway put herself second. You never heard her complain. She spoke her mind when she felt it necessary. But, not taken into consideration what others had to say.
In regards to Lester's family, I know Pris was special to each in many in different ways. She thought so very much of each of you. She expressed this many times and the importance of making sure all kept close.
Prissy earned her wings. She was an angel and left us to quickly.
She will truly be missed but in all of our hearts for the person that she was, not just as a sister, but an aunt whom did so much for her nieces and nephews, a wonderful mother, and loving wife.
I will miss her morning phone calls and her voice. But I will know her pressence is with me each and every day, with each and every memory.
Again, I and my family thank each and everyone. Pris was blessed
to have known so many.

I've heard it said that people come into our lives for a reason, bringing something we must learn. And we are led to those who help us most to grow, if we let them, and we help them in return. Well, I don't know if I believe that's true, but I know I'm who I am today because I knew you:
Like a comet pulled from orbit as it passes a sun; like a stream that meets a boulder halfway through the wood. Who can say if we've been changed for the better? But because we knew you we have been changed for good. Who knew that Glenda the Good Witch was talking about YOU?
To our friend Pris, who made everyone feel like her best friend.
From the guys @ SCRS....George, Bob, and Big Daddy.

The Burnette family has been a fixture at Independence for more than three decades. Amazingly helpful and always supportive. Even when the kids grew up they continued to attend events and stay in touch. A special seat should be reserved at Patriot stadium for the Burnette's to keep the memory of the support alive. My condolences to Mary, Crystal, and all the rest. Pris will never be forgotten.

Pris and I worked together for many years on the State of South Carolina account. She was energetic, kind, and helpful - she truly wanted to help others. She was our "den mother".
