Dear Dick & Linda, we never ceased to thank God for having crossed our pathways with Dr. Richard Hagemeyer & Janet. The key to the most successful English as a Second Language Program was in the hands of him, as President of CPCC. Soon that Program was the third largest in the USA. Through CPCC and with the President's support we also became a success story in the City, State and the USA!
May God comfort all of us!

Dear Jinny,
I remember fondly the years shortly after Dick's retirement. He was so generous with advice and wise with insight - a great help to me at that early staqe of my career in higher education. But it's most warmly that I remember those early years of the Charlotte Hornets. Our season tickets were side by side so we got to know you and the family as we cheered on Dell, Mugsy, Larry, etc. When he wasn't at a game I knew he was traveling to some exotic place - like those in this wonderful slideshow - and I anxiously awaited the next game to hear all about it. Dick was a great yet gentle man; a true visionary yet a humble leader. We are all diminished by his loss - but better for having had him among us.
With warmest regards and deepest sympathy,
