Again, my thoughts turn to our loss of Todd, who I knew in such a partial way as he and I bicycled together from Concord into Charlotte and back, uncounted times. He was a man of great spirit and gentle laughter. His expression bespoke his awe at all that his life and faith presented to him. I can still hear him exclaim, "Wow! Sweet." God blessed me with knowing Todd, and the faith we shared tells me that we will meet again. I'm looking forward to that. May God bless, reassure, sustain and bring healing to Todd's family, who I know loved him very deeply.

I want to express my sorry to his family and say that he's not forgotten. I only knew Todd a few months from playing pick-up basketball at lunch with him and his co-workers (he had a good hook shot and always called his fouls). I rode my bike to the Rec to play ball at lunch and naturally we started talking bicycles and met at a cenutry ride later in the summer. Such a sad thing to happen to a good guy.

Pam, Brady and Elizabeth,
I just want to say that I love you all very much. As time draws closer to the anniversary of Todd's untimely death, I know that it must still be hard for all of you. I can't begin to say that I understand what you're feeling or going through, but just please know that I love you all and pray for you often. Although, I don't get to see you all as often as I would like, I feel like we are family. Pam I still feel like your my sister, no matter how many miles are between us. Todd was a great man, father and husband. He loved you all so much and I know that you know that and hold that dear to you. He was an inspiration to all. I don't have to tell you how great he was, the memories that you all have of him will live on forever.

I will never forget where I was when I heard the news and desperately tried to reach someone who would tell me that it wasn't true. Unfortuantely I couldn't find anyone.

You all are an amazing family and give so much inspiration to me and others. Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives. I am a much better person for it. Todd brought alot of joy to me as well. It seems like only yesterday he was letting me tag along as the "freshman" at Campbell. If he ever said no, I didn't know about it (thanks Pam!!)

I pray that in time you will find comfort, but some things just don't heal with time, as so many people always say. Know that God and I love you and He will always be there to comfort you and guide you. I will always be here to listen, cry, or even just be silent. The tears that I shed are for you and your suffering. I know that Todd is in heaven and is smiling on you all. It breaks my heart to see you have to endure the heartache, but please know that no matter where I may live, I'm always right there with you. I'm always available at any time for any thing.

I love you all!! May God bless you all!!

Sincerely,
Kelli

I knew Todd as a brother inlaw and as a friend. I was shocked to learn of his accident that took him away from his family and friends. I hope that Pam and the children are well and going on with life as Todd would have hoped for them. I wish them the best and I understand their pain. Ted
