Wendy and I worked together in the rehab department. She was a wonderful person and therapist - that smile was infectious. She was a true inspiration to everyone who knew her and will be sorely missed by all. Our prayers are with the family in their loss.

I first met Wendy when I worked with volunteers at Hope Cancer Ministries. We had a common bond right from the beginning because we both had ovarian cancer. Wendy was a very giving person, always willing to help whenever, and however she could. We have remained friends through the years, and I will miss her and her kind, gentle ways. I know I will see her again in heaven where we will never be parted again.

Wendy and I would often study together and share great fellowship in Christ, a lot of great laughs. I would often walk her back to her apartment on the UW campus to be sure she got home safely. She is very special and precious, she had a gentle, humble spirit and a great smile. I'll meet up with you some day.

Tiffany and Stacie, I was so hurt to hear about your Moms passing. She was a very special woman that touched so many lives in her short life. I know cause she touched mine. The first time we talked was in the infusion room at CMC while we both were taking chemo. We developed a kinship over the last few years. I hate the fact that I could not reach her by phone the last time she called me. I have not been doing good myself and think that I was in the hospital at the time she called me. I did try to call back later but could not reach her. My heart aches for you and the family and will keep you in our prayers for God to give you comfort and strength during these difficult days ahead. Please remember that death can not take away our memories of our loved ones and I'm sure that you have many to look back on. God Bless you, Beverly Wingate

As a former classmate of Wendy's from U of W-Madison PT program, I extend our sympathy and prayers to family and friends. May God carry you through this difficult time.
