Sgt. Christopher Abeyta, I came across your handsome face while reviewing those who have been lost in a fight for freedom and democracy. God Bless your family and the pain & suffering they must bear. Please know there are those who care about your sacrifice

Last Saturday, my husband and I participated in our local "Run for the Fallen" event. We walked in memory of your son, Christopher Paul Abeyta. While we walked, we prayed for him and those who are still in Irag and Afghanistan. When we finished, we rang the large bronze bell in his memory and planted a flag for him. We are so thankful for his service and will think of him and his sacrifice each time we raise our American flag on our farm.
