I thought of you today on your birth-anniversary, as I've been watching "The Andy Griffith Show" in reruns and have developed quite a crush on you! You were so very talented and handsome, with the most adorable face and the sweetest smile I have ever seen on a man. "Goober," I know you are at peace now. May God bless you and continue to comfort and care for your loved ones. (My favorite Goober episode, by the way, is the one where he goes to the auto show in Raleigh.)

Met you once in Overland Park Kansas. You were nice to sign an autograph for me.
