My husband Paul & I had the pleasure of living next door to Billy Scott when we bought our very first home here in Raleigh, North Carolina ..in a then new little neighborhood called Charleston Park. It was such a joy to live next door to a great man....so kind.....a bright smile all the time...and a heart of gold...not to mention getting the benefit of hearing him practice when he would sing!!!! When we had our son....Billy, named after my father...Billy Scott would tease me and thank me for naming Billy after him!!! LOL !!! Billy Scott was a wonderful talent......may he "not" rest in peace..but continue to sing his heart out for all of heaven to hear!!!!...his voice was a gift, for sure!!
May the God of tender mercies be with you at this difficult time. May the thought of seeing your love one again bring you the peace of God, Acts chapter 24 verse 15.
Grief can be so hard during the holidays, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one this holiday season.
Billy & his music will surely be missed. He was always pleasant and put on a great show.
