I didn't know you or your family, but my heart goes out to all of you. We use to live in Chicago but are now stationed in Va. Our daughter Felicity was born Dec. 30 2010. A year later we found out she had severe life-threatening food allergies to peanut, tree nuts, and eggs. I pray for a cure someday. God bless you and your family.

Dear Mike, Malu and Mickey, I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Katelyn's death when I saw Mike on channel 7 last night. I was a friend of your former next door neighbor, Bernie, and remember Katelyn as a very sweet, friendly and very smart little girl. My heart breaks for you and I pray that God will help & strengthen you. Linda (Chicago)

Mike and family, I was stunned watching the news last night and seeing the story of your beloved Katelyn. I remember my days at Assumption church at the 7:30 mass at my little friend Katelyn coming to me at the sign of peace. Mike congratulations on the new law so that other people don't have to feel your pain. Katelyn is getting daily hugs from Fr. John in heaven.
