Mildred Stender Obituary

Stender, Mildred R. Of Chicago, IL, residing in Arizona died, March 5, 2017 at the age of 90. She was born April 14, 1926 in Chicago, IL to John George and Rose Stadler. Mildred's primary satisfaction in life was caring for her home and family. She skillfully raised two daughters, cared for her husband and managed her home. She loved to go ballroom dancing and enjoyed shopping, taking vacations and watching horse races. Mildred is survived by her daughters, Laura Bonner and Arlene Stender; sister, Sylvia Marie Ludwig; six grandchildren, Robert W., William S. (Colleen), Michael J. (Nancy), James P. (Tricia), and Timothy S. McKenna (Angela), and Alyson Mullins (Bob); several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Stender; brother, George "Jack" Stadler, and her parents John George and Rose Stadler. A service will be held in May, date and time to be determined, at St Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL.
