Butch and Kelsey,
I just heard about Val's passing today and I am beyond shocked and disbelief. I ran into Lex today at work and she informed me about it.
I can't tell you how sorry I am. Val was a wonderful person and loved you both so much. Treasure those memories that you have and that will help you get through it. Just take one day at a time.
I lost my dad suddently two years ago and it still hurts. In a matter of minutes, you life is totally turned upside down.
Hang in there! Just know that our thoughts are prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Dear Butch and family,
I am shocked and saddened beyond belief to read of your dear Val's passing. and we will keep her and you and your family in our hearts and prayers.
If I had a nickel for every wonderful, fun-packed minute the four of us shared, especially the "nightmare" Cub home opener, I would be a very rich man.
Butch, whenever you feel like it, please give me a call at home, (309)661-2429, or e-mail me at [email protected]. I would sincerely like to talk to you old friend.
Our very deepest sympathies and love to you.
Mike & Cheryl Whelan.

Dear Butch and Kelsey,
Val will be missed by many, but none as much as by you and Kelsey. I had the privilege of having our paths meet several years ago with the opportunity to work for Val and know that her kindness and witty humor made an impact on each and everyone who knew her. You are both in my thoughts and prayers for strength and grace during the days to come.
In Peace and Love,
Candy
