I only recently met the Hardy family through Business and I am so sorry to hear about their Son . No parent should have to bury a child. It is so very sad.

Kirsten, Our lives were meant to cross today at the Bakery. Your losing Alec and our losing Tom....both at 21. Our lives are changed forever, and we will never be the same, but as we discussed, we had 21 years of memories with our boys. Their memories are our gifts to cherish forever. You are so strong. Faith, family, and friends will continue to sustain you on a daily basis.
Thinking of you and your family with love and prayers.

I work at a local funeral home doing grief groups, and own a private counseling/spiritual development practice in Hinsdale. My son just left for school at SBCC. I see so many young people die so young. I am so sorry for your loss. My name is Karen Schultz. My consultant gave me the obituary and noticed SBCC and noted that this was very coincidental. I wish your family peace and love. For some reason I wanted to reach out to you to say how sorry I am for your loss. Please know that your family is with my thoughts and prayers at this time. If you ever want to talk, please know that I would be happy to connect with you. Again, my condolences to your family. I will light a candle for Alec and the rest of the family. Peace

What happened? Only a mother who lost a son at an incredibly young age would ask this question? I am so sorry for your loss.
