Charles Hollis Cory II, age 84, passed away peacefully on 2/28/15 at the Clare nursing home in Chicago. He was born 3/12/30 in Lima, Ohio to Charles Hollis and Mary (Bentley) Cory. He graduated from Dartmouth college and the University of Michigan Law School as well as serving his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from the Northern Trust Bank after 35 years as a dedicated vice-president. His passion for sports/college football led him to become treasurer and president of the Chicago/University of Michigan Alumni Association. He is survived by his wife Judith; twin brother Frank (Dee) and their children; sons Chip (Deirdre) and David; his daughter Susan, 2 step children and 9 grand children. In remembrance, the family has opted for a private ceremony to honor his life at a later date.
