Oh Dear Chuck, how we will miss you and how many wonderful memories we had of you in Milwaukee when Jon was alive. What a rich friendship we had and we will cherish all of our lives. Rest in Peace dear friend.

I would imagine Chuck influenced many lives. At his encouragement, we were docents together at Villa Terrace and tour guides for Historic Milwaukee. We often had breakfast together after our Saturday morning training classes where I learned that he was also a terrific story teller about the Army and even about growing up. For many years, we were both in the same dinner club until his move to Chicago. It was difficult to maintain contact since his move, but I am certainly glad to have known him.

Friends since January 1, 1957, when you were an army dentist in Stuttgart and I was a student there. I'll never forget your kindness to me and our jaunts around Europe in your MG. You made a big difference in my life, Chuck, and I'll miss you terribly. John Moore
