I new Ellen only from paying my Allstate premiums at her office. I've been doing this for years. It was always a pleasure to see her. I actually would pay my bill in person several times a year because she was such a pleasant person to talk to. She wasn't my agent but went out of her way to help me with my policies and questions. Her passing was a shock to me when I saw the note on her office door today about her passing. I wish I would of known so I could of payed my respects. I will miss her. I regret I didn't know her better.

Ellen was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She would really go out of her way for her customers. The day I turned 16 and was added to my parent's policy and she sent me a personal note reminding me to drive safely. When the time came she wrote me my own auto policy and talked me into applying to Allstate, I've now been an employee for 5 years. Then she helped me transition from renters insurance to my very own home policy. She has been there for many milestones in my life. She wasn't just my insurance agent she was a really good friend. I will truly miss Ellen.

My heart aches for the family and friends of this amazing woman. Ellen was an angel on earth. She put everyone else first. I have known her for over 30 years and she was a blessing to me in so many ways. She loved the Lord. She loved everyone. There was never a time when she wasn't upbeat and positive. One of my greatest memories of her was during a conversation we had about when problems arise. She shared with me that she simply says: "Jesus, I trust in you." Because of my faith, I know that I
will see her again someday, never having to say goodbye. Terry and Brendan, may the Lord wrap his loving arms around you and fill you both with His comfort and peace.

Ellen was one of the most gifted photographers that BetterPhoto.com has ever known and many of us loved and followed her work. Some of us were fortunate to know her on a more personal level and it was an honor to be one of them. My sincere condolences go to her family and friends as I write this through my tears. She showed us heaven in her beautiful work and hope she is in the most beautiful heavenly spot God could find for her. :) Here is her beautiful gallery if you have not seen it before. http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/gallery.asp?mem=122381 ...Ellen we love you and miss you. See you in Heaven someday if I make it. :) With Love

My heart is absolutely broken. Words cannot express the depths of my grief. Our sincere condolences to Terry and Brendan. Ellen was a super devoted wife and mother and one of the most interesting people I have ever met. She was kind, generous, and a giving person. We spent many hours in the garden where she taught me to be a better photographer. She volunteered her photography skills to others so that they could become better at observing nature. She stopped in our garden almost every day, early in the morning after church or in the evening, and took at least 100,000 images in the past 7 years. She was always looking for the perfect image--whether it was frost on a flower, a tiny bee, a bluebird, a caterpillar, the resident fox or a fawn. We shared so many laughs and she was so upbeat and positive, being with her was like taking a super vitamin. I will miss her so much that it breaks my heart to think that she's gone. -- Nina
