I had the pleasure of working for Jerry at Oppenheimer. He was such a wonderful boss. He was a wonderful man who taught me a lot. Debra Sweetnam
A gentleman always and a fantastic baseball coach. May Mr. Rivlin rest in eternal peace.
I had the good fortune to work with "Riv" for many years at Rodman. He was a great guy who helped us keep our heads on our shoulders when things got a bit wild! I never saw him angry and listened to him often because he was a very smart guy. I'm sorry he's gone.
Aunt Helene and family,
We have such wonderful memories of our time spent with you and Jerry. Going through pictures of the trip to Hawaii for Josie and Dick's 50th, we came upon a wonderful photo of both of you with our family. We will treasure our memories.

I'm so sorry for your loss. He sounds like a wonderful man and you were all lucky to have each other. - Kristin Wheeler
Sending our deepest sympathies. We will never forget the wonderful Thanksgiving we shared with Jerry and Helene at Rick and Sandy's. He's a very special man with a very special family. Love to all.

Dear Helene and family, Jerry was a true friend to many and especially to Beth Hillel. He always stood up for what he thought was right and I always had great respect for that, During my presidency at Beth Hillel he was always available to take one of the many "help" calls or attend a last minute meeting. He will be greatly missed by all but I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work and learn with him. He will not be forgotten. May his memory be a blessing to all.
I will miss my friend and mentor. Jerry taught me a very important lesson. One that I will always remember "Zah ah Mensh" (Be a respectable person). He certainly was one.
Dear Rivlin Family, It is with great sadness that we write to tell you he will be dearly missed. Great guy, family man and loyal and caring friend. Love, Jan and Neal
