Recently heard of your loss. Prayers for the repose of the soul of Jack and for comfort and steadfast faith for the entire Callahan family.
Nancy and all the family, I just found out of Jack's passing. I want to send you my sympathy and prayers, knowing all your great memories will help heal your hearts. You will always have that hole, but remember he is always with you. Jack was a kind man who had lots of love for his family and for anyone he met. I knew of the family while growing up at St.Linus but I got to know you and Jack during his multiple home physical therapy rehab after his knee replacement. I totally enjoyed coming to the house and listening to his stories. He was soo proud of his family. He will be greatly missed. Sending you gentle healing hugs.
I am going to miss him and seeing him and everyone. My prayers are with the entire Callahan family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Callahan family. Jack has always been a true gentleman and generous spirit. The Buoniconti Fund and The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis will miss him dearly. Love, Kristin Wherry

Aunt Nancy, Colleen, Patti, Jack, Matt, and Terry,
I want to share what for me is a wonderful (all be it kind if strange ) memory of Uncle Jack that goes back 40+ years.
Back in '72 or '73 I was staying at your house while my mom was in the hospital having either Dan or Tom. One morning I woke up around 4:30 crying because I missed my mom and dad. I remember Uncle Jack coming up to the bedroom and bringing me downstairs to the kitchen where your he was having coffee before leaving for work. Your dad saw how sad I was so he made me a Pop Tart in the toaster and spent the time to talk with me until I was feeling better, and before he left for work.
40+ years later whenever I see, or eat the occasional Pop Tart, I remember that morning and the kindness and love my uncle showed towards me like it was yesterday. I will cherish that memory of Uncle Jack forever.
Rest in Peace Uncle Jack. You will be missed by all who were lucky to be part of your life.

I want to send my condolences on your loss, Uncle Jack was truly one of the great ones and will be missed by so many. Always remember the good times and great memories you all have shared together. Uncle Jack set such a great example as a father and husband for all of us younger cousins to try to emulate. I can only hope to leave such an amazing legacy as he has. I know his old golfing buddy will be waiting to greet him with open arms! Love you all and please don't hesitate to call with anything we can help with, we would be glad to!
