My Uncle Johnny. I watched him through the eyes of a young boy and I marveled at his skills, his tenacity and his entrepreneurial spirit and drive. He REMAINS a very big part of my soul and IS still a very big reason why I simply do not give up. HE and my father most assuredly set my moral compass. I will miss him very much but will remember him even more so. Thank you God for my Uncle Johnny.
We will miss our dear Uncle so much. His smile, his fun parties, his musical talent, his sense of humor, his neatly printed faxes (which we have saved) on and on...so many memories. What an all-around great guy!
May the perpetual light shine brightly, Uncle Johnny. Thanks for your love, and all the great basement parties. I can still smell the antipasti and beer, and that's a good thing. Love you. Go Cubs.
