Your soul is genuine, kind, giving and loving. I truly have never met anyone like you. I am blessed to have known you for the short time I did. You have opened my eyes to many different ideas and beliefs and I cannot express how grateful I am for that. I know that you gave something to everyone that met you, whether it was just a smile, a laugh, or a life lesson. You will be greatly missed by everyone who knew you. Your family will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I will think of you fondly and often.
Our deepest sympathy goes to you and your family.

WEEP NOT FOR ME
Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.
Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.
I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour of need, I will be there to comfort you. I will share your tears, your joys, your fears, your disappointments and your triumphs.
Do not weep for me, for I am cradled
in the arms of God. I walk with the angels, and hear the music beyond the stars.
Do not weep for me, for I am within you;
I am peace, love, I am a soft wind that caresses the flowers. I am the calm that follows a raging storm. I am an autumns leaf that floats among the garden of God, and I am pure white snow that softly falls upon your hand.
Do not weep for me, for I shall never die, as long as you remember me...
with a smile and a sigh.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We went to Proviso West together. Always willing to give me a lift home. Crazy guy and very funny. Steve will be greatly missed.
To Rob, Hanne and the entire Alajoki family we extend our sincere sympathies.

Steve was the consummate teammate at work, was a blast to hangout with & always had an infectious smile at the ready. Going to miss him.
Steve - to say you will be missed is an understatement. Your absence will be felt by us all for a long time to come. My love and condolences go out to all in the family especially George, Hanne, Tom, Robbie, Ryan and Kevin.
Steve - In my mind all I can see is the little boy I babysat for, was my brother's friend and was one of the "little guys" on the block. Even though you grew into a wonderful adult you will always be a "little guy" to me. You will truly be missed. My thoughts and paryers are with your family. May God bless you all. Carolyn Roth DiGioia

Please have comfort in knowing that God will help you find the strength through this difficult time and have comfort in knowing that my prayers and thoughts are with everyone whose lives were touched by Steve.
With deepest sympathy,
