I am the oldest of Edith's 5 children. I had a great youth learning at her side the raising of a family. Mom always gave me the freedom to make my own errors and to learn from them. We communicated all my life and I will miss her. Love Bill
My aunt Edie was unquestionably a special person. She was able to see and understand life in unique ways. My siblings and I grew up being read to and later read ourselves -- her and uncle Ernie's book. We all were inspired with her creative art works and talent over the years. During my early adult years, she helped me work through and process a difficult phase of my life.
I have many fond memories of Edie that I will always cherish. Even as a child, she treated me like a "grown-up" and she was always interested in what was happening in my life. She was a special person that I will never forget. Nanette Bonhiver Malcomson
