Glorivette Alegria

On behalf of Glorivette's family, thank you so much for helping to keep her memory alive. She cherished her friends and sisters in Alpha Gamma Delta and was so proud to be part of your sorority. It is an honor that the scholorship in her memory exists. Thank you so much.

I have been thinking of Glorivette much recently. Alpha Gamma Delta held 5 K runs in Glorivette's memory. The funds raised along with other donations made in the past few years have helped establish the Glorivette Alegria Memorial Scholarship at Eastern for an Alpha Gamma Delta member. I am pleased that the first scholarship has been awarded. A plaque will be placed in the chapter house in memory of Glorivette with the names of the recipients. We have never forgotten Glorivette. Every year her name is on the back of the Tug Team's shirts for Greek Week.

Miss you so baby girl ... This day weighs so heavy in my heart ... every year while everyone else is celebrating St. Patrick's day my heart breaks. I remember you the sweet little girl that grew into the smartest, kind, loving beautiful young lady. You were always happy and wearing a beautiful smile. As you grew you never changed. You loved with you whole heart, the way your mom taught you.

I can hear your voice responding to people when they complimented you on your beautiful, sleek shinny black hair by saying "thank you my mom gave it to me." with a smile of course. I hear you calling out to your brothers who you loved and were always so protective of and your baby sister Nancy.

We miss you madly baby girl. Especially your mom but don't worry baby ... I will always make sure to be here for her until we meet with you again in heaven where the three of us can sit and laugh and tell stories like we use to.

Please know that I think about you everyday of my life ... I keep you in my heart always. I love you so much!
