NICHOLAS A. KARRIS

Dear Mary Ann, I just read of Nick's passing in the spring issue of the Beloit College magazine and wish to offer my sincere condolences. Although it comes a bit late, Nick was one of my favorite teammates on the 1955 Bucs football team. He and our great front line almost lead us to the only 2nd undefeated team in Beloit history at that time. His tenacity as a player and a friend helped to spur our team onto greater heights on the playing fields on which we gave our all in every game. It is quite evident that Nick's determination to succeed in football carried him on to even greater heights as an attorney, developer,and valued supporter of Beloit College, but more importantly, a good husband and father. I wish to express my prayers for Nick and your family, and May God Bless Nick with Eternal Life in His Glorious Kingdom of Heaven. And if I am fortunate to meet Nick there someday I'm sure we can through the ball around!! With Love and good memories, Rod Hermes QB on the 1955 team.

I just learned about Nick's passing today, 12/27, and was shocked. My heartfelt deepest sympathies to all of you on Nick's passing. I will always remember him as full of energy and laughter. I know this is an irreparable loss. Only time can soften the grief, but never dissolve it. May memories that you share together bring you comfort at this saddened time.
