Henry E. Jachec, age 81, of Park Ridge, passed away November 2, 2013. Henry was born May 25th, 1932 in Chicago, IL, the son of Anton & Mary (nee Siudut) Jachec. Henry is the beloved husband of Dolores (nee Maczko), devoted father of Steven (Joey Lynn nee Coulter) and loving grandfather of Harrison and Maxwell Jachec. Survived by brothers Stanley (Julie), Anthony (Constance), sister in law S.M. Cecilia Maczko C.S.S.F., and brother in laws, Mitchell (Jean) Maczko and James (Regina) Maczko and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Edward (Florence) Jachec and a sister Helen (Eugene) Grabowski. A graduate of University of Illinois, and an MBA from DePaul, Henry worked in public accounting and at his family owned and operated Honey/Sunny Hill Beach in Wauconda. His concern for those less fortunate drove his generous support of a variety of charities locally and nationwide. A memorial visitation will be held on November 6th at Our Lady of Ransom Church in Niles from 9am until the time of the funeral mass at 10:00am. Interment will be private.
