I was very saddened to hear to hear of the death of Jack Riddle. Mr. Riddle taught me in the seventh and eight grade at Energy, Il., a small town in Southern Il. When I entered my daughter in school at Komarek I was surprised to learn he was the principal. Both Jack and Jane were the most wonderful people I have ever known. I'm sure the gates of Heaven opened wide for both of them and for eternity they will be together with their God. Mary Arvai

I was so very sorry to hear of Mr. Riddle's passing. Mr.Riddle, as then Principal, together with Mr.Rentfro,as then Superintendent, interviewed and hired me to teach at Komarek School in 1963. Mr.Riddle was always a very kind, caring, and supportive administrator as Principal and Superintendent, as well as a true gentleman! I am so glad, that in the not so distant past, that I had the opportunity to have lunch with him in Oak Brook. We had a wonderful time reminiscing about our days at Komarek School. He often spoke of Jane and how he missed her and how very proud he was of his family...his daughters,son-in-laws, and grandchildren. Mr.Riddle was a fine and wonderful man in every way and I feel very privileged and lucky to have known him and to have worked for him as a teacher on his staff at Komarek School for so many, many years. He will surely be missed by all.
