I would suggest that those who don't know much about Jack Twyman view the speech he made for his friend Maurice Stokes. I knew a little but his speech gives a lot of insight to why he was so well respected. Search Naismith HOF acceptance for Maurice Stokes.

Jack is now in the only Hall of Fame the truly counts. God bless him and his family. He and Maurice Stokes are now together forever. They both embodied the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi and their maker.

RIP, Jack - An alumnus of St. Francis College who attended Maurice Stokes' funeral and met Mr. Twyman at that time back in 1970.

I was in grade school when I first herd about Jack Tyman. I was a reader of Sport magazine and read the story about "Mo" and Jack. What a story from God, true love and friendship.
