"Rocko" was my father's (Ed Stare)co-worker and a very good friend of his for many years at Moore Business Forms. Fortunately for me, my dad always allowed me to meet and to interact with his friends as I was growing up. Subsequently, Rocko became my friend as well. I played many rounds of golf and drank quite a few beers with Rocko over the years, especially during the 1980's when we had a regular Saturday AM tee-time at Four Winds GC in Wauconda,IL. He was a gentleman and a truly hilarious individual whom I hit it off with right from the start, despite my young age at the time, around 12 or 13 when we began playing golf together. In fact, my life may have been completely different for the worse had I not met him. He was the deciding influence in where I went to college, as I attended and graduated from his alma mater, the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico. It is a decision I will never regret and I have Rocko to thank for it. I am honored and blessed that, despite our age difference, Rocko considered me his friend rather than just his friend's son. I will miss him and our phone conversations just to check in to see how each other were doing. I know he missed my Dad terribly after he passed away several years ago. Now they are together again, causing some kind of trouble, no doubt, for their heavenly hosts. May God bless "Rocko" for all the joy that he brought to me and to so many others. I miss you already, Rocko!

Jim was a a very kind, caring man ~ and an absolute RIOT to work with. He always had a smile on his face and a funny story to tell. I will miss him. My deepest condolences to his loving family ~ whom he spoke of so fondly.
