I know it is three years since your father passed away. I just found out. My family grew up in Dolton and Dr. J was our family
Dr. He was such a kind and wonderful man.
The Kurasz family sends our deepest condolences.

The first time I met Doctor Iwanetz he slapped me. No, really, he was the Doctor who's name was on my birth certificate. I remember looking at my birth certificate as a child and trying to understand the German words.
Yes, I was born in a Hospital in Augsburg Germany in 1957 to American parents and my father was in the Army. I just recently did an Internet search for his name and was saddened when I found this obituary.
I know that it has now been two years but I would like to send the family my sincere condolences.

He took care of our family when we were growing up in Dolton. One of the greats. Even as a kid, I never felt nervous going to the doctor. He was a wonderful man and on behalf of my family, our deepest condolences to his family.

My fondest memories of Dr. Iwanetz were the summers our family spent at Lake Delacarlia, where I learned how to water ski (you actually taught me!). Danny, your Mom and Dad were always welcoming and such fun people. I remember playing in the blue bedroom! Both our fathers were the best of friends, and mighty handsome I have to say. They were the last of the family physicians that made house calls and patients could call the house. I know that my father was very sad to hear the news (still going strong at 92). My heart goes out to your family and relay my deepest condolences.
