Aunt Nancy, Colleen, Patti, Jack, Matt, and Terry,

I want to share what for me is a wonderful (all be it kind if strange ) memory of Uncle Jack that goes back 40+ years.

Back in '72 or '73 I was staying at your house while my mom was in the hospital having either Dan or Tom. One morning I woke up around 4:30 crying because I missed my mom and dad. I remember Uncle Jack coming up to the bedroom and bringing me downstairs to the kitchen where your he was having coffee before leaving for work. Your dad saw how sad I was so he made me a Pop Tart in the toaster and spent the time to talk with me until I was feeling better, and before he left for work.

40+ years later whenever I see, or eat the occasional Pop Tart, I remember that morning and the kindness and love my uncle showed towards me like it was yesterday. I will cherish that memory of Uncle Jack forever.

Rest in Peace Uncle Jack. You will be missed by all who were lucky to be part of your life.

GO IRISH!

Love,

Robbie, Laura, Annamarie and Sarah Rose Hughes

Terry,
I'm so very sorry to hear of your father's passing. Driving through Twin Lakes Park seems difficult these days with all of the losses in recent years. Your Dad always had a big smile and warm greeting whenever I encountered him. God bless you and the entire Callahan Clan!
Sincerely,
Michael T. O'Shea
