Joe and I were in the same company (I-1) during our plebe and yearling year at West Point. He was greatly admired for his unselfish support of his fellow classmates, particularly those who struggled during that first year as plebes. His consistent genuineness and “others first” approach to relationships engendered the highest level of trust from others towards him. He seemed to have a special calm about himself, particularly under stress. Even during those early days of Joe's military experience at the Academy, he projected an aura that rendered the highest level of respect. I always felt that Joe Cavolick was one of our most outstanding and respected classmates. He will be greatly missed. Mack Harnden

It's difficult to move on when we've lost a loved one, but we have memories that no one can take away, memories that will bring a smile and ease the pain and sorrow. May the loving support of friends and family help you through this difficult time. Sincere condolences - Prov 17:17
