Laurie Rose Ruby, nee Levine, age 56, beloved wife and best friend for 31 years of Barry; loving mother of Ross; devoted daughter of Marcia, nee Bell and Bill Levine; cherished sister of Mark (Linda) Levine and Diane (Jeff) Lehman; dear sister-in-law of David (Sue) Ruby, Karen Ruby (Russell) Edidin, Mark Ruby and Tricia Ruby; treasured aunt and friend to many and especially her "four-legged" friends. Service Sunday, 11:00 a.m. at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Stacy and were shocked to hear about Laurie. There is nothing to say to make you feel better other than it really sucks. We've missed you guys and its been way too long. Keep your chins up and it does get somewhat better.

Barry and Ross, We were so very shocked and saddened when we heard about Laurie. You all were so wonderful to Mike over the years, your home was a second home to him. Laurie always had a smile and kind word for everyone. Please know our thoughts are with you.

I still can't get over the shock of losing Laurie. I've known her for years but only developed a friendship over the last couple of years as she took care of my 2 little fur babies. They always loved when she came over & I enjoyed getting to know her. She always had a big smile and always spoke with such pride of her entire family. I will miss her very much. It's a very sad time. My heartfelt condolences to the Levine & Ruby families.
