I knew Mary from the Women's Center. She was a very dedicated counseler both inside and outside at the Albany Clinic. She was very sweet and never complained. May she rest in peace.

I first met Mary in 1985 at the Loyola charismatic prayer group in Rogers Park. She was a very charismatic soul and inspiration and such a fighter, always at the vanguard of holistic remedies and ideas. I'm very sorry I was not able to attend the wake or funeral but did make it to the 12 noon Mass today (Dec 19th) at the Women's Center on Cicero where Mass was celebrated for her. My sincere condolences to the family.

I met Mary because she volunteered at the women center. Mary was a very special person who brought a great deal of joy to my life. Her laugh was fantastic.deeply touching that she died on dec 10 st Juan Diego feast day. Praying for all of you.

Ann Serb: I am so very sorry for your loss. I am Mary Heithoff Clauss, Joanne's oldest daughter. I don't know if I ever met Mary but I do remember my mom telling me you had a daughter my age named Mary. I would pray that you all feel God's mercy in this difficult time.
