My Dear Melba, I will always remember the sound of your laugh! You made French Class memorable to say the least. Your giving nature was truly a blessing to behold. I'll always remember the kindness you and your family showed me during our years at Alvernia. Lenny, Kiki and Dean, I will pray for you all. Mr and Mrs K as well. Love, Madeline O'Callaghan Blumberg

Our deepest condolences to Melba's husband and family. We just learned the terrible news today and still cannot process the loss. God bless your family, Melba was one of a kind and truly an unforgettable lady.

My Dear Melba,
I am at a loss for the words that would accurately provide a true picture of the incredible, loving soul that is you. As the tears trickle down my cheek, I smile knowing I was blessed to have you in my life. God certainly knew what He was doing when He brought us together, I can never give enough thanks. So, at first I was the Partylite lady but as the years went by- you were my friend. You always had a kind word (or many) to share when you knew times were bumpy. You were the only person in my life that recognized my prized accomplishment with your loving words and beautiful bookmark (which will remain in my Bible). I did not get a chance to say goodbye, but then you will never really be gone. I see your smiling face everywhere and the memories that are you will never fade. Again, it is not good-bye but when I see you again... I will often light a candle for you, my friend, Melba... you will be missed by so many until we follow the rainbow home to you. God Bless you, your family and friends.....

A beautiful lady, kind to everyone, graceful, charming, good humored, spiritual and supportive were only a few of Melba's qualities. All who knew Melba were better for the experience. And Dear Friend you were an experience to be around with a constant flow of ideas. Your style and charm, always feminine and graceful yet determined with a strength and conviction to persevere. How I will miss your personality and presence. You touched the lives of hundreds and gave them something to help along life's road.
My heart breaks for your family, if there are words that could give you comfort, a friend that can help I pray you find them. Times of sorrow are when we need to seek out the comfort God has promised. Jesus will carry us through the pain if we let Him. Zoe Sa Sas
