I am sorry to hear about Nancy Jean's death. As a member of the Illinois State Poetry Society I had the pleasure of her input on poetry. I liked her spunk, her generosity, and her laughter. Thank you, Nancy Jean, for your contributions to our group. When I entered the Dancing Poetry contest a few years ago, the director of the contest said, "Do you know Nancy Jean Carrigan? She writes remarkable poetry."

Dear Dick,
We were sorry to hear of the death of Nancy. She was a wonderful person to work with and know. We were not sure if you were still living in Warrenville. We are now in Naperville and would love to hear from you. Call of you would like. Our # is 630 946 6971.
Love and Prayers,
Jan and Mary Ann Ryk

Nancy was such a sweet person. Even as her health was declining, she and Dick visited my mother in various care facilities and stages of decline and would always try to cheer her up.
She inspired my mother to take up ballet back in the '80's. My mother wanted company, so I started classes as well. My favorite memories were of our city trips we took to the ballet, art galleries, Navy Pier Art Expo. Nancy's work during that period inspired me to dabble in my own oil paint and watercolor ballerina abstractions.

Dear Dick and family, Nancy made the the world a better place to live in. Thanks again for coming to Fred's memorial last summer.
