Born September 25, 1994 in McHenry, to Gregory and the late Beth Ann Klyczek, Nathan passed away August 14, 2014. Nathan was a proud graduate of Crystal Lake Central High School, 2013 where he was a devoted student, involved in many organizations. He was a dedicated baseball player for four years with Crystal Lake Central and was a two year varsity baseball letterman. Nathan was also a member of the Crystal Lake Central Bon Vivant Cuisine Club, but was also awarded in his education with the Prairie State Achievement Award in reading, math, and science, receiving the Trine University Distinguished Scholarship, the Trine University Lead the Way Grant and was the 2012 Illinois State Scholar. Nathan was a committed student, enthusiastic athlete, a loving son and brother, and will be truly missed by all who knew him. Nathan is survived by his loving father, Gregory Klyczek (mother, the late Beth Ann); sister, Abigail; grandparents, Colette (the late Eugene) Klyczek, David and Elizabeth Grant; uncles, Jeff (Janyce), Chris (Kathy), Kevin (Debbie) Klyczek, Charles (the late Theresa) and David Grant; aunts, Mary (George) Dorian; cousins, Michael and Meghan Klyczek, Justin and Kendall Klyczek, Henry and Ashton Grant, Zoey Dorian, and Maddie and James Pope. Visitation will be held Monday, August 18, 2014 from 3pm until 9pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt 176) Crystal Lake, IL 60014 with a funeral service held at 7pm. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Nathan and our son, Keegan Vallee, used to go to the same babysitter (Candy Nolte) when they were younger. They also played baseball together along with our other son, Jared Erickson. Words cannot express our sympathy for your family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
