Mr. Zook! ...Norb! May you Rest In Peace my friend.
Nosing around the internet, looking for old names and thought of you. Here, I see you passed away. I'm sorry! My condolences to your family.
I worked with Norb at Tilden in the early 80's, In the engineering dept. Engineers and shop teachers always had a good time. Not only was he a good shop teacher, but he also could mix some good music! Always had a hand to help others. What a great man!

Dear Kathy and Family,
I am shocked and saddened to learn of "Norbie's" passing. "Norbie" was always so full of life. His spirit, and big heart brightened any event enriching the lives of those fortunate enough to be in his presence.
I know that, Kathy you were the love his life and nothing made him happier and prouder than his family. May you find comfort in all the loving, wonderful memories of Norb.

Not only was he an awesome teacher he was a great guy in general I memeber him giving students things they needed money for hair cuts he was the best thing about Tilden only reason I stayed there he will be deeply missed

I worked with Norbert at Tilden for a short time, but he left a lifetime of memories for me. He always had a smile and his friendly demeanor always brightened my day. May his memory sustain you during this difficult time.

Norb was one of a kind. He touched so many lives and has truly left his mark on each and every one. He will be missed. We're glad to have had him in our life. We'll always remember his smiling face. God Bless him and his family.

It was sadness that I heard the news of Norb's passing. I was really praying that he would fight this to the end but our Heavenly Father knew what was best and took him home. I would always think of him and smile because he was such a wonderful person and will be always thankful that he was my friend. If there is anything you need please let me know. Sorry I could not make it to the service but my thoughts are with you and Norb and the family

To my friend, Mr. Zook, although after a week in class we started calling him "Norbie". Go figure, we were 18 and he was 23. He was more like a big brother than a teacher. He was the college kid and we were the "alley" mechanics. Rest in peace Norbie. Bruce Wierzbicki, class of 1972.

My deepest sympathy to Kathy and the entire Zook Family. Norbert and I attended kindergarten together and remained friends over the last 60 years although there were times when we were out of touch for extended periods. I will forever cherish the memories of our early years as well as those during our recent visits here in California and Chicago. We always ended those visits with " I Love You." Rest in peace my dear friend.

Norbert and I usually sat in class alphabetically when we were kids. Because of our names, we were always in the back of the room, with him sitting behind me. He fought a long and hard fight, and wherever he is now, I hope he's sitting up front!

Mr Zook was my teacher in 74 and 75 and he was the cooles and most hip teacher and he taught me a lot about cars and life.I also used to like when his Dad would stop by with the next part for the old Willys Jeep we were rebuilding.We won 1st place at the Museum of Science and Industry in a contest.We spent 2 years on that Jeep.

My condolences to the family. He was my automotive tech teacher over 13 years ago at Tilden. Very comical, a overall nice guy. I remember the ponytail clearly. Lol! Rest on Mr. Zook.
