I just found out today that Robert has gone home. I live in Arkansas, and every visit to family in the western suburbs brought me to Robert for the best haircuts ever. He rediscovered the curl in my hair and sweet talked it while he cut away. Once he visited us in Arkansas and gave the best haircuts ever on my deck. He was so special and so upbeat even while he was very ill. I shall miss him terribly. Judy Duitsman

I met Robert while serving on the HPCA Board. He was a thoughtful kind and caring person , who was a positive addition to the board. He also was my hairdresser and we had many an interesting conversation during that time. Snickers, his dog, would add the humor to that time. I will miss him. But, I inow he is with the Angels and free of any pain or disease. Love you, Robert.

I first met Robert when I started working for Advocate Health Care in 1984. As stated by so many others he was a kind and charismatic man. He actually helped my wife and I move into our home back in the 1980's. It is sad to hear that his journey in this life has come to an end. I offer my sincere condolences to Robert's family. This photo shows the smile that everyone refers to...

Robert, my dear friend. Always there to hold my hand at the beauty shop when I was having my eye brows waxed. You made everyone feel "they mattered" Robert, you are gone, but you will never be forgotten. Heaven has opened the gates for their newest angel. I will miss you and will always remember the fun times we shared. Hummer Park will always be a special place for me - Our lunch there was special and I will always remember that time. God bless you my Dear Friend. Until we meet again Robert. Stella

I was always so very happy to see Robert working in his booth at the antique store. We'd catch up and laugh a bit. What an amazing man - gentle and kind - sincere and thoughtful. I will miss our chats, seeing his smile, and hearing him chuckle. My deepest sympathy to his family. May the memories - yours and those shared by others comfort you.

Robert - my Silver Fox - I am so happy and honored that I could call you my friend. Your beautiful smile had a way of lighting up a room. Your kind and gentle nature, graciousness and generosity were just some of the reasons that everyone loved and respected you. I'm happy that in passing you were surrounded by friends and family in a house that was full of love.
Heaven has gained another angel and we have lost a dear friend.
May you Rest in Peace.
