Such a wonderful man, he would periodically come about in conversation still today as the example of what could be, not was usually is. His legacy within my family grew so profound, that Principal Vallina was even beloved by my mother! (Her acrimonious attitude towards administrators was legendary). Peace and Happiness to his family.

Principal Vallina was a force if energy, excellence, and guidance. Tough when needed, but the purpose was always motivation, not cruelty. Loved the Italian lunch he made for us to appreciate his culture. McGee, Chemical Engineer, IIT ' 84, Ray ,71.

I am heartily grateful that I not only got to thank Mr Vallina for being my Ray School Principal, but also for the time he allotted me to interview him at-length about his life and contributions to children. The partial interview clip, on YouTUBE, under his name remains online. The entire recorded visit was three hours. I loved an appreciated this man and he knew it.

May he have eternal peace.
