STANLEY A. LESNIAK, age 93 of Crown Point; formerly of DeMotte and Gary, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015. Survived by his wife Caroline (nee Blaschke) of 67 years; four children: Dr. Linda (Rev. Mark Kraai) Lesniak, Karen (Lt. Col. John) Jacobs, James Lesniak, Andrea (Frank) Schaffer; four grandchildren: Larry (Becky) Wood, Katherine Jacobs, Michael Duttlinger, Lt. John Jacobs; sister Alfreda Lesniak. Preceded in death by daughter Elizabeth Reeley; grandson Mark Duttlinger: son-in-law Larry Foster; parents Frank & Anna Lesniak; two sisters: Jane Metz and Helen Frankowski. Mr. Lesniak was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Crown Point and a former member of St. Augusta Catholic Church in Lake Village and Holy Family Catholic Church in Gary. Stanley was a graduate of Froebel High School, a World War II Army veteran, and a retired electrician from Gary Works, U.S. Steel with 30 years of service. Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service (811 E. Franciscan Dr., Crown Point) on Tuesday from 2:00-8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 6:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 12:30 P.M. from Pruzin & Little Chapel and 1:00 P.M. from St. Mary Catholic Church (321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point) with Rev. Pat Kalich officiating. A private family interment will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Wittenberg Chapel, Unity Hospice, or to St. Mary Catholic Church. "Dad, please call us when you get home."

So sorry for your loss. Stanley was my mentor and journeyman as an electrician back in the early 70's. He was always such a great person to be around and work with. I know he was greatly loved by all. May God be with you and your family.
