Thinking of Steve approaching his 7th anniversary. I miss him and appreciate all of his good advise when he was my boss starting in Oct 1987. I have a beautiful home and a fantastic life because of his guidance and leadership. I will never forget Steve and think of him and pray for him often.

I think of Steve often. I started working at Elmhurst Federal on 63rd Street in 1987. He had me open a 401k the day I qualified for it. He told me to put my next raise in it and half of every raise after that. I did and can´t believe how much he helped me save by teaching me this at the age of 21. He also encouraged me to buy my house when I was 21 for 30,000.00 with a loan from Elmhurst Federal. I still live in the house and it is now worth 10x what I paid for it. Not only was he a kind boss but he had a profound affect on my life (and career) and taught me everything I knew about delivering exceptional customer service and banking. I´m retired now after spending almost 30 years in banking. I passed on his 401k advice to many of my employees so he actually helped many people save for retirement. I wish I knew when he passed so I could have attended his wake. I hope you are all doing well.

To the Janiszewski Family - I work at the Illinois Credit Union League and we used Steve as a speaker several times. He was one of my favorites! I loved how his face lit up when he talked about his family. My daughter went to U of I and he always asked how she was doing since I believe two or three of his sons went to school there. He was so courteous, skilled at what he did and pleasant. I was so upset and shocked when I heard what happened. Please know my thoughts and prayers have been with you. He was a wonderful man. Dear Janiszewski Family,
Growing up in Mt. Greenwood and crossing Pulaski to attend St. Catherine's followed by Marist with Steve Danny and Mike, I always will remember Mr.Janiszewski's smile and dedication to his family. I remember playing mini basketball in the Janiszewski drive way and watching VHS videos of Janiszewski to Fitzgerald passing attack during our 7th and 8th grade 17-2 football years. Thank you Mr. Juice for always welcoming the team to your home.May God be with you always.

I was so sad to hear about Steve yesterday. I met Steve and his business partner, Cathie, 20 years ago when I hired them to help with training delivery. At the time, I never imagined that we would be embarking on a twenty year relationship. Steve was smart, funny and passionate about everything he did and was so proud of his children and his grandchildren. Whenever I asked about his family, he was always ready with a great story and I enjoyed listening to everyone of them. I considered Steve a colleague and a friend and he will be missed.
