Here's Wilbert Seidel with Andrea Anderson, Dec 2011. To the family: We will keep Wilbert in our hearts and call his name every time we see a fellow Unitarian. Best always, Alice

I found two photos of Wilbert Seidel that I took in early Dec, 2011. I am proud to post them. After i took a solo photo, Andrea Anderson posed with Wilbert. Her smile represents the joy we all felt in his presence.

Wil and Winnie's "Concepts of God" service at Lake Shore is a special memory. Wil's Manhattans (for courage) before our small choir's performances are also fondly remembered. When I objected to being a former board member "out to pasture," they presented me with a mini horse and faux grass in a box labeled "a bit of pasture for Julie." They were fun, creative and warm friends.

I took a photo of your father in front of the Community House's Christmas tree three years ago, my first year of "belonging." I asked his name and he said, "Wilbert. Isn't that a weird name? You don't much hear it these days." I didn't know it at the time but he was already 102 and so intellectually alert and funny that he was a delight to be around. I am searching my photo albums. When I find the Christmas photo I will post it.
