I still long to hear your wise words, I miss your laughter and encouragement. You were a guiding light and inspiration within my life. Our special days are approaching, our 6th anniversary on the 12th, our birthdays on the 19th and 25th....and I can hear your saying what are they writing about it - read it to me babe!

We love the Fall, it meant we had clocked another summer excursion. It marked the end of Summer and the beginning of a new semester which you so looked forward to each year with excitement and angst as if it were your first class. It meant we were both getting older, if not wiser but still loving, learning and laughing, doing the best we could through it all!

I'll miss you for all seasons,

I am saddened to hear this news just today. Professor Watkins and I were friends. He was very serious about his work which I appreciated. I loved his brilliant mind and sense of humor. I was sending him and invite to my retirement gathering and discovered this news. I wish peace to his lovely wife and family.
