ELNORA ADELINE EULE JOHNSON Elnora Adeline Eule Johnson, 94, went home to the Lord on March 08, 2018. She was born September 23. 1923 in Rackerby, CA to Otto and Ella Eule. She graduated from Bangor Elementary School and Oroville Union High School in 1942. Elnora married her childhood sweetheart, William (Bill) Johnson on May 12, 1943. They made their home in Bangor and Oroville, where she was a beautician for 20 years. In 1964, Bill and Elnora moved to Chico, where she became act-ive in community efforts, PTA, and Trinity United Methodist Church. They enjoyed travel with friends Don and Joan Lydon, Chico Elks RV Club, and family, trav-eling all around the country and also visited family and friends in Hawaii and Alaska. Elnora loved watching her birds, sewing, painting, and gardening. She and Bill loved to entertain and their home was the site of many wonderful gatherings for friends and family. Elnora was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill and daughter, Patricia, her parents Otto and Ella Eule, her sisters Viola Post and Doris Pequette, and brothers -in- law Stanley Post and Vern Pequette. She is survived by daughter Bernice Wilburn and husband Michael, son William Johnson and wife Christine; grandchildren Elizabeth Johnson and fiance Adam Gwathney, Shawna Grindstaff and husband James, Teresa Davis, Julia Kaye, Jessica Ellis, Jason Ellis; seven great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchild-ren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 285 East 5th Street, Chico. A grave-side service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Upham Cemetery, Bangor, CA. Arrangements are made through Newton Bracewell Funeral Home, Chico, CA.
