My thoughts and prayers are with your family in this time of sadness. I grew up listening to George Jones on radio ad watching him on tv. As an adult I have enjoyed the duets with Merle Haggard "Kickin out the Footlights" will always be a favorite. He will be missed , never forgotten .

We are sorry to hear of your loss. It was our privilege to have George at the first Cecil County Food & Wine Festival in Port Deposit Maryland in 2011. He was such a joy to meet, listen to and watch perform even though he was not feeling well. The community was so proud to host him and will miss him.

My thoughts & prayers go out to the family. The greatest country entertainer of all time! I grew up listening to country and bluegrass music. My daughter and I went to see George in Bristol, Tenn. several years ago when she was 14 or 15 & she stated when he passed, she wanted to go to his funeral. Unfortunately we won't be able to attend d/t work situations, but the family will be in out thoughts. My daughter was planning on going to the concert in N. C.in July for her birthday-so disappointed when she heard the news of his death. TWO of George Jones's biggest fans. George will always be loved and in our hearts and his music will never die.
