Daniel Inouye will forever have my thanks and aloha. When my husband and I were both deployed in Desert Storm, it was Senator Inouye who fought to have me returned to the US to be reunited with my 3 month old son.
My Ohana lives in Hawaii. And I was saddened by the loss of such a patriot as Sen. Inouye was. I had met him once and many do not know he was a member of Good Bears of the World, giving Teddy Bears to children. Aloha, sir, Mahalo for your service, Mahalo for being a CMH recipient! You will be missed.
I am do sorry for the loss of your loved one. Please find peace and comfort in Psalms 65:2.
Requiem æternam dona ei, Domine.
Et lux perpetua luceat ei.
Requiescat in pace. Amen.
A true friend of the Navajo and minorities, thank you for your commitment and work. God bless your loved ones -
Senator Inouye, you served your country well, and for such a long time. You are to be greatly admired and loved. May God bless your loved ones and friends. Thank you for your service to this country during World War II.
Most sincerely,
Carolyn
Senator Inouye, you will be missed greatly. sending prayers to your family and loved ones.
I would like to offer my condolences to the Inouye family for their loss. Senator Inouye was an outstanding advocate for Hawaii during his years in Washington, and he will be greatly missed here. On a more personal note, I am grateful to him for having been a wonderful mentor to my late husband, Hawaii State Senator Anson Chong, who once worked as an aide in Senator Inouye's office and held him in greatest esteem. Aloha, Senator Inouye.
