Not sure what to say?

I have Col. George Day's pow bracelet. Wondered if you would like to have it.

I am clean out my dresser and Came across a Democrat and Chronicle February 2, 1973 name of Pow was held by north Vietnam and I see Colonel George E. Day in the paper, I wore his name on my bracelet the whole time I was in high school. I always want to give it back .please contact me .his children got to be my age. I'm sorry for your loss

My Name is Ross Stewart I am the Curator of a new museum at RAF Wethersfield I read with a smile from the American Patriot that Col Bud and Doris considered RAFW the best assignment. I wish I had met Col Bud, Doc Blanchard and other heroes of this Base. There are Displays for them and a Memorial Wall for those that died in service with the 20th.

I wish all to know Col Bud Day is remembered and honoured here at RAF Wethersfield. Maybe a member of his family will visit one day....

A true Hero, may you rest in Peace.

Thank you MR. Day , rest in peace

I wore your bracelet for several years while you were captive, I saw you walk off that plane bringing you home, I sent you the bracelet with your name on it. I am so proud to have seen you return, god bless you and your family. It saddens me to know your gone. [email protected]

I just finished American Patriot.I served in the US Army, vietnam as a grunt, and find it ironic that I had a POW bracelet of Lt.Col.George E Day.I am disappointed that I never had the pleasure of meeting you.May you rest in peace.

What a great American. We need more brave people like him. Thank You Col Day for all your service to our country.

Americans need to read more stories about this Man and Patriot and the example his life provides us.
