I remember your dad and family well. My dad ,Skip Nusbaum, loved your dad. I used to wait on your family after church at the old White House restaurant. Corky was a character!
Corky was a wounderful and fun loving person who always could bring a smile to your face. He was a wonderful person who loved to coach. We were lucky to have him as a coach in Mt. Sterling for short time. Rest in peace, "Corky"
Terry, Mike, and Mark: Through the years thoughts of your father always brought a smile to my face. What a character and so much fun to be with!
My heart ached for each of you as you dealt with the obstacles of Alzheimer's. Both my father and my brother suffered with this dreaded disease for many years prior to their demise.
May it bring you comfort to know he is in a better place and pain free.
May God's Richest Blessings Be Yours,

Miller Family, I am sorry for your loss. I am proud to have been apart of Corky's Championship basketball teams at OU-C. Great memories. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I am so very sorry for your loss.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
To the Miller family. I was in the 8th grade at Unioto and Corkey was my basketball hero. I, as well as lots of others looked up to Corky and we wanted to play like him. Cork was indeed a wonderful person. I left Ohio in 1953 moving to Colorado to finish high school but never forgot my roots to Unioto. When I would return for occasional visits Corky would always have the big smile and handshake ready.
God's Peace Corky, you're in a better place now my friend.
Corky Miller always will be remembered
for his great personality and fine basketball teams. I am proud to have known him to be able to call him a
"Corky" - great friend, great teacher, and an inspiration to all he met. So happy I knew him.
Great coach, teacher, motivator and a true family friend. Thanks for everything you did (including helping convince Mrs. Webster to give me a D in French so I could stay eligible). My sympathy to the family. Steve Campbell
Terry and Family --
Condolences. Although neither of us knew Corky, he seemed to have touched a lot of lives very favorably. He would have probably liked one moment at the end to thank you for the care and love you provided him in his years of need.
Chip and Mary
Mark, Terry & Mike! Sorry for your loss. I'll say a prayer. Peggy Knorr (former neighbor)
Mark & Terri - your dad was a legend, a friend and a true inspiration. Mark & I loved him and our hearts are with you during this time. Love, Mark & Laura Davis
Corky Miller was the type of person the kids would gravitate too. Like so many have said, he made all of us feel we were the most important person and just had a way of making us want to be better. I found a picture in my mothers things when she passed away, of my sister Kath's head board of Coach Miller. That picture was on her bed for years. He meant so much to so many people. He inspired everyone of us to do better...he made us proud of ourselves. Chillicothe was a wonderful place to grow up and Corky Miller was one of those people that made it great. To the entire Miller family, I pray that you find great comfort knowing how much all of us loved this man, who were honored to have your Dad as our teacher, coach, and friend. God Bless you and thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this wonderful man with all of us. Nancy Kisler Anderson
Mark, sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Janet Wacaster
Friendly, funny, caring, an encourager is how I remember Coach Miller. He had a smile that lit up the room and a way that made you feel very special. Attending CHS and being a part of his athletic program, cheering on our team, Corky made every entity of the program special by acknowledging our efforts. He was a kind man and a friend to all. Seeing my own father suffer from Alzheimers for so many years, I truly do remember how hard it was to see the shell of a man that was once vibrant and alive lose the capacity to communicate. Happy memories can be obscured, but the majority of us remember the personality that made us all feel like his best friend. Corky's legacy has been talked about far and wide and he will never be forgotten for all that he contributed to the various school communities. To the entire family we send our prayers and sympathy. May God grant you His peace that passes all understanding.
