Jim, you are sadly missed by all who knew you. I am sorry for such loss to all of Jim's family members and friends.
With deepest sympathy. I had the pleasure of working with Jim many times. He always made everything sound great.
You were a good friend and a great guy to know. We had not talked in a year or so but we could always start up where we left off. We had many good times touring together. Your great ears will be missed in this world. Peace be yours.
I am very sad to hear this shocking news about my dear old friend. I worked with Jim in Nashville on many sessions and his backyard live music internet show. I witnessed his love of animals...... rescuing "good girl" who he adopted. He came to hear me play in Georgia. I took him to France to do sound for a festival; consequently he dreamt of having a recording studio there.....Jim and I grieved the loss of the great fiddler Randy Howard together. I imagine Jim is recording Randy again on a heavenly project. I send my deepest condolences to Jim's family, partner and all his friends.
My deepest sympathy to Kathy and to the McKell family. May your faith and the outpouring love from family and friends comfort you during this sad time.
I have many fond memories of time spent with Jim. My sympathies to the McKell family.
Dr.David and family, I am so sorry for your loss. May God bless you.
I wish I had gotten a chance to meet Jim. I've heard a lot about him through my friendships with many of the local musicians he knew and played with over the years. He certainly lived a full and interesting life and was successful doing something that he loved. What more can one ask for? My deepest sympathies go to the entire McKell family for your loss.
Offering my sincerest condolences to the McKell family for your loss.
In memory of the great Jim McKell.
Kathy and the McKell family, We are thinking of you through this time of loss. Jim touched so many people with his talents and great works. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to all. He entered each room with a smile, always patient to guide us of less knowledge. I, along with many others, was fortunate enough to work with Jim at Creative Workshop Studios in Nashville. I am so thankful that Jim was in my life. God bless you all.
I am very sorry to hear of Jim's sudden passing. I understand he attended Ohio University school of Music, as I did. It is a shame we never met. My family and I extend heart-felt condolences to you, David and family. May you remember all the good times, and good music! With Love, Donna (Seelhorst) Lundeen, Eva Lundeen, and Douglas Lundeen
RIP MR. Jilm.
You gave the biggest opportunity of my life and changed its direction for ever.
You lived your life to the fullest. We should be so lucky !
To the entire Mc Kell family: May God lift your grief in this time of sorrow.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.
Jim, I still see you playin the B-3 with the Leslies spinnin with floresant stars mounted to them. I still see you engineering our first song at the workshop. May God bless you and your family. Rest in Peace my friend.
It was an honor to know this great person. He taught me many things about sound which I use every day. Till we meet again.
Sending thoughts and prayers to Jim's family and friends...
Condolences to the entire McKell family, Kathy and Jim's many classmates and friends. I remember Jimmy fondly as i recall our High School years and i'm sorry that we didn't have occasion to catch up on all that had happen since. I always knew of your successes and i know there is a void in the industry you loved so much. My thoughts and prayers are with all that have been blessed in this life to have known Jimmy. He will be missed by many and his music will live on. May you RIP my friend and classmate. Randy Barrows
You will be greatly missed. You were not only my mentor, but a great friend as well. May we meet again someday.
A sad goodbye to a fellow Buckeye. You were far too young; in fact, you were thought of by many as "Forever Young." You had more impact on us here in Nashville than you probably ever imagined. Blessings to you and your family and friends. If pets go to Heaven, I can only imagine the joy you and Buddy will share upon being together once again. And as you climb those steps Upward, do it the "Jim-Bob Way."
Love you, Larry and Molly Whinnery
