I wish I had gotten a chance to meet Jim. I've heard a lot about him through my friendships with many of the local musicians he knew and played with over the years. He certainly lived a full and interesting life and was successful doing something that he loved. What more can one ask for? My deepest sympathies go to the entire McKell family for your loss.

He entered each room with a smile, always patient to guide us of less knowledge. I, along with many others, was fortunate enough to work with Jim at Creative Workshop Studios in Nashville.
