Ms. Tina Michelle Yelvington, age 41, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013. She was born Sept. 24, 1971 in Fort Walton Beach. Michelle was a resident of Freeport. She graduated from Freeport High School in 1989 and was awarded Ms. Bluewave in 1987 and 1988. She worked as a professional food server for many years. She loved the beach, listening to music, writing music and poems. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Michelle is survived by her mother, Jan Moore Oswell and her father, William Robert Oswell of Freeport; biological father, Francisco Archuleta of Fayetteville, N.C.; two sons, Kevin B. Hagstrom and Cody M. Yelvington both of Freeport; one sister, Laura Coplin of Santa Rosa Beach; two nieces, Alexus Oswell, and Sierra Coplin; two nephews, Blade Oswell, and Ace Williams and paternal grandmother, Theresa Archuleta.
A time of visitation was held from 4 to 5 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20; Freeport, Florida 32439. Funeral services were held at 5 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home. Floral arrangements are being accepted or donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses. A special thank you to Michelle's caregivers and friends who visited and provided their loving care. To the family,
I graciously appreciate the time that I spent with Tina as her nurse with Angels Care Home Health. My love and prayers go out to her two boys especially, always know that she is in heaven smiling and watching over both of you. May God bless the family and keep you all strong.
